Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Payroll Manager that is based in Germiston. To deliver professional, accurate, and timely payroll services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and service excellence.

1. Oversee the full payroll function for both weekly and monthly cycles, including processing of:
2. Overtime, standby, commissions, salary adjustments, allowances, garnishees, deductions, and personal detail changes.
3. Ensure accurate processing of new hires, terminations, and manual payments when required.
4. Administer manual leave capturing for designated departments; monitor forfeiture and annual leave increments.
5. Coordinate employee benefits such as medical aid, pension, and provident fund contributions.
6. Validate payroll inputs against supporting documentation and net pay variance reports.
7. Manage the complete pay run process in collaboration with the finance team, ensuring alignment with payment schedules.
8. Distribute and publish payslips.
9. Maintain efficient payroll system setup, including user access and ongoing system maintenance.
10. Compile and submit monthly and ad-hoc reports as required.
11. Prepare and process statutory and third-party payments; ensure timely submission to finance and communicate cash flow requirements.
12. Provide General Ledger reports to finance monthly.
13. Conduct regular data backups and perform monthly rollovers.
14. Generate dummy payslips and handle payroll-related queries.
15. Ensure proper documentation and handover of payroll inputs for personnel file archiving.
16. Administer membership changes, new applications, and terminations for employee benefits.
17. Engage directly with brokers, benefit administrators, and service providers.
18. Reconcile monthly benefit statements against invoices and report discrepancies.
19. Prepare and process annual tax documentation including IRP5s and implement tax table updates.

1. Expert knowledge of SAGE VIP payroll system.
2. Familiarity with HansaWorld ERP system.
3. Comprehensive understanding of NBC rules and contributions.

1. Matric (Grade 12).
2. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in payroll, including at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
3. Relevant SAGE VIP certification.
4. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
