  • Develop and execute programme roadmap supporting the business strategy.
  • Identify, document and manage programme risks and issues.
  • Prepare and deliver programme communication plans and progress update reports.
  • Manage programme financials and benefits tracking.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and maintain governance documentation.

Program Manager – Johannesburg, South Africa (Contract, Hybrid). The programme manager will support the consumer prepaid business.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Understanding of core telecoms systems such as prepaid billing systems, CRM, CVM, Digital and network infrastructure.
  • Experience managing projects or programmes that include prepaid product positions, sales enablement via various distribution and channels, operational improvements, product launches and go‑to‑market.
  • Ability to analyse data, customer behaviours and patterns, and provide insights that lead to better initiatives and innovation.
  • 12 years in project/program management, including at least 4 years in program management.
  • Previous telecom experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute programme roadmap supporting the business strategy.
  • Identify, document and manage programme risks and issues.
  • Prepare and deliver programme communication plans and progress update reports.
  • Manage programme financials, benefits tracking and ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and maintain governance documentation.
  • Plan and report on resource utilisation.
  • Ensure programme governance and compliance documentation are up to date.
