Calling all individuals that’s recently completed their SAICA or SAIPA articles! Got an exciting Financial Manager role for a great company. This role is responsible for managing day to day financial function of the business, managing the book to trial balance, SARS, processing payments, dealing with the banks etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage books to trial balance for three companies
2. Verify that trial balances are prepared for audit annually, respond to any information requests and queries from auditors
3. Manage SARS functions for VAT/PAYE, for all three companies
4. Verify that reliable management accounts (profit/loss statements) are available for provisional taxes
5. Put together reports when needed
6. Process batch payments daily paid in ZAR, as well as weekly USD and other payments
7. Reconcile bank accounts in RAND and USD
8. Reconcile credit card accounts
9. Review profit and loss monthly
10. Handle Petty Cash and day-to-day operational tasks
11. Liaise with banks and receive cash daily
12. Work closely with Debtors Manager handling large volume of debtors, ensure invoices are paid
13. Follow up and resolve queries with clients, send monthly statements

Requirements:

1. Completed articles
2. Able to multitask and enjoy interaction with various individuals
3. Management experience
