We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established proudly South African organisation operating in a fast-paced product-based FMCG / manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong CA(SA) who is passionate about accurate reporting operational excellence and driving financial efficiency. Located in Swellendam this opportunity offers a unique work / life balance surrounded by scenic mountain landscapes and a close-knit community.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards
• Manage month‑end and year‑end financial processes
• Handle inventory valuation and variance analysis within a product‑based environment
• Design, implement and monitor internal financial controls
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance
• Prepare for and engage with External Auditors
• Drive operational efficiencies and provide mentorship to junior finance team members

Qualifications and Skills Required

• CA(SA) with completed SAICA registration
• 35 years post‑articles experience
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ERP system experience (SAP or similar)
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing preferred
• Skills:
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
