A global Agtech company in Wellington, Western Cape is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join their Process Engineering team. The role involves optimizing processes, conducting simulations, and providing technical support. Candidates should have a BEng or BSc Eng in Chemical/Process Engineering with up to 2 years of experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. This is a permanent position in a dynamic environment.
Formación
Recent graduate or 2 years post-graduate experience.
Experience in agricultural input, food processing, chemical or pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
High proficiency in typical business and engineering software tools.
Responsabilidades
Assist with process technology development on bench, pilot, semi-commercial and commercial scale.
Optimise chemical, physical and biochemical processes to meet production goals.
Conduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate performance.
Troubleshoot process issues and develop effective solutions.
Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs.
