INVNT (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Retail Store Assistant / Cashier Clerk to join our growing retail operations team. We're looking for someone energetic, reliable, and passionate about people — someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to every customer. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy retail interaction, understand sales flow, and are ready to grow within a professional and dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a friendly and professional in-store experience.
  • Accurately process all sales transactions using POS / cash till systems.
  • Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly and efficiently.
  • Support upselling initiatives and contribute to weekly and monthly sales KPIs.
  • Maintain store presentation: tidy shelves, clear counters, and organized product displays.
  • Assist with stock receiving, replenishment, and rotation.
  • Support daily operations, including store opening and closing procedures.
  • Learn and master all company systems (POS, delivery, loyalty, and tracking tools).
  • Uphold INVNT Group's standards of service, ethics, and professionalism.
Requirements & Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a retail cashier or sales assistant role — advantage if pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with cash till or POS software (essential)
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare retail, or similar environment (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Work Schedule
  • Fridays: 09:00
  • Saturdays: 10:00
  • Sundays: 10:00 + (additional shifts)
