Purpose of the job

The Operational Excellence Business Analyst works closely with Global Process Owners and stakeholders to define and implement automation and process efficiencies across Collinson activities.

They lead Operational Excellence continuous improvement activities, defining and implementing solutions and improvements through best practices using lean / six sigma principles.

This position will report to the Operational Excellence Director and will work closely with Global Process Owners, subject matter experts and stakeholders within departments across Collinson to implement the Global Operations change agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define business needs which are clearly communicated, understood and met
  2. Support internal productivity and transformation initiatives; actively implementing process automation and standardisation in all departments
  3. Participate in program of projects including planning, governance, progress tracking and execution
  4. Develop and support implementation of process design, in line with the Global Operational Excellence strategy and in line with Collinson standards and policy
  5. Identify gaps in the current process design and implement necessary changes
  6. Subject Matter Expert in selected Automation tools Power automate, Power Apps and Power BI

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  1. Good communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
  2. Ability to drive and lead change initiatives
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Power tools (Power Bi, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  4. Skills in planning and organising, decision making, negotiation and time management
  5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to forge strong working relationships with a diverse set of colleagues

Experience

  1. 5+ years’ experience Business Analysis
  2. Good working knowledge of Technology awareness in how systems and technology impact on the process
  3. Proactivity and high energy

IDEAL

  1. Experience of working in a shared service centre
  2. Lean Six Sigma qualified up to Green Belt
