Job summary

A prominent educational institution in Pretoria seeks an experienced Office Manager to provide high-level executive assistance. The Office Manager will oversee administrative duties, enhance school-community relations, and support two executives. Successful candidates should possess a post matric qualification in office management or Industrial Psychology and a minimum of five years of PA/Secretarial experience. About the job Office Manager (PA for two executives)

Position: Office Manager

(Personal Assistant for two executives)

The Office Manager will perform a variety of administrative/secretarial support providing high-level executive assistance by leading the administrative team, answering calls, planning and organizing meetings, events and interacting competently with the complete cross-section of the school community, providing an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Post matric qualification in office management and/or Industrial Psychology.
  • Minimum five years of PA/Secretarial experience, preferably in a school.

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

  • Greeting visitors, answering a high-volume of incoming phone calls.
  • Coordinating appointments and meetings and managing staff calendars and schedules.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel and car rental reservations.
  • Purchasing office supplies, equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Producing reports, composing correspondence, and drafting new contracts.
  • Creating presentations and other management-level reports.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English and Afrikaans).
  • Able to work and adhere to timelines and deadlines.
  • Must be an active member in a Christian church.
  • Excellent computer skills including experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other programs.
