Candidates should have a Doctoral degree in Education, with a focus on Language in Education issues
Open to South Africans and foreign nationals
Preference will be given to South African citizens, women in particular and permanent residents.
Young and emerging scholars
Successful applicants may not hold full-time salaried employment during the fellowship.
Successful applicants must be able to relocate to the UFH for the duration of the fellowship.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO :
Reside as a postdoctoral research fellow at the UFH and participate in relevant activities of the Faculty of Education, and the Department of Research and Innovation
In conjunction with the host as well as other members of the host school, co-author a minimum of 2 units per annum in DHETaccredited scholarly journal articles or chapters in accredited / credible commissioned book
The successful candidate will be required to conduct innovative research and obtain evidenced- based empirical data on Language teaching and learning in South Africa.
The postdoctoral research fellow shall reside in East London to access facilities at UFH East London Campus and participate in relevant activities
