A leading FMCG company is seeking a Debtors Clerk to join their Accounting team in Alberton, South Africa. The role involves managing debtor accounts, ensuring timely collections, and preparing financial reports. Ideal candidates will have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, advanced excel knowledge, and 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role. This is a critical position for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall accounting operations.
Qualifications
- 2 – 5 years experience in an accounting role.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Controlling Direct Debtor Accounts.
- Maintaining credit limits and opening new accounts.
- Liaise with insurance for claims and credit issues.
- Processing invoices and sending out statements.
- Preparing weekly and month-end reports.
