A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to provide full-time supervision on site. The role requires reviewing construction drawings, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing project completion. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have at least 5 years of related experience, preferably in sectors like semiconductor or pharmaceutical. Qualifications

• 5+ years of working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, office, institutional, or mixed development preferred.
• Valid RTO certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time supervision on site as directed by the Consultant team.
• Check construction drawings for discrepancies before installation.
• Ensure works compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Handle project safety protocols on behalf of the owner.
• Resolve site issues to ensure timely project completion.

Job Description

• Provide full time standing supervision on site as and when directed by the Consultant team
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Act on behalf of owner to handle owner’s project safety protocol (including but not limited to management of PTW, safety inspection & audit etc)
• Ensure adequate safety precaution are enforced on site
• Resolved all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project
• Attend site meeting, site inspection, testing, and commissioning
• Maintain site records
• Any other assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
• Possess Valid RTO certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience as Resident Technical officer
• Preferably with experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, office, institutional, industrial, or mixed development
