Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Resident Engineer with ongoing architectural projects. The ideal candidate must have a Higher NITEC in relevant fields and at least 5 years of site supervision experience, preferably in healthcare or residential projects. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Your role will involve quality monitoring, ensuring compliance with specifications, and coordinating tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience required.
• Familiarity with healthcare, residential, or institutional building projects preferred.
• Conversant with local construction practices, codes & regulations.

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of architectural works.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• To assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of architectural works on site
• To inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing materials delivered to site, and quality of workmanship
• To carry out supervision and co-ordination of architectural works of the project and shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of the contract
• To ensure timely submission of shop drawings, technical submittals and material samples by the contractors
• To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure the works are carried out by the contractors in accordance with contract specifications and drawings, complying with quality and standards

Job Requirements

• ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) equivalent or higher, in Architecture or Building Services, Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized institution
• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience
• Past working experiences in healthcare/residential/institutional building projects is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for project update and reports
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision of works
• Conversant with local construction practices, codes & regulations
