Job summary

A leading construction supervision firm in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to assist in overseeing construction works. The role involves ensuring all installation methods comply with contract specifications, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining site safety. Candidates should have a Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering and be registered with IES. The position requires at least 1 year of experience in building or residential project supervision. Working hours are normal with eligibility for overtime after 44 hours.

Qualifications

• Registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer (C&S) is a must.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist Consultants/client in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site
• Ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications
• Liaise with the contractors/sub-contractors in the coordination of site works
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and irregularities to Consultants
• Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCSS)
• Registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer (C&S) is a must
• At least 1 years’ experience in the supervision of Building/Residential Project

Working Hours

• Working hour: normal day work with 44 hours a week
• OT: after 44 hours OT Paid eligible
