Job Title: DX Strategy & Application Senior Associate/Lead

Our client, a leading maritime MNC specializing in transportation services, seeks a DX Strategy & Application Senior Associate/Lead. You will be reporting to the General Manager/Manager.

1. Business Application Support
   Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for key business applications.
   Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve application-related issues.
2. Business Process Management
   Analyse and document existing business processes.
   Propose and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Business Requirements
   Engage with business stakeholders to identify and document digital needs, translating them into actionable project specifications.
   Ensure project goals align with overall digital transformation objectives.
4. Project Management
   Manage small to mid-scale projects, from initiation to closure.
   Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring deadline adherence.
   Track project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
5. Solution Delivery & Change Management
   Design, develop, test, and deploy IT solutions to meet project goals.
   Ensure smooth implementation, maintenance, and issue resolution while managing stakeholder expectations through effective change management.
6. Internal Stakeholder Management
   Build and maintain strong partnerships with applications owners and other IT members.
   Work with internal business stakeholders to identify and prioritize application support needs, issues, and digital transformation projects.
7. Vendor Management
   Facilitate and maintain relationships with vendors/partners.
   Negotiate contracts with vendors/partners.
   Create standards and find the best available vendors.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant disciplines.
2. 3-5 years of DX and Business Analyst experience within the shipping/maritime industry.
3. Hands-on experience with PowerBI or similar tools, report development tools, and project management tools.
4. Experience in data warehousing and data reporting is a must.
5. Proven and successful project management experience in Business Application Support (such as HRIS/Accounting system), BI tools, and managing small to mid-scale projects.
6. Excellent communication in English and Mandarin to liaise, communicate, and negotiate with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and vendors.
7. Good understanding of maritime business processes, project management concepts, and quality standards.
8. Master's Degree in Computer Engineering/IT (preferred).
9. Experience with Fleet Management systems (preferred).
10. Familiarity with AI/ML and ability to incorporate them into workflow, optimizing and decision-making processing.
11. Strong understanding of maritime business processes, project management concepts, and quality standards.
12. Experience working in a Japanese company is a plus.
