Job summary
A leading food product company in Singapore is seeking a Baker to handle daily cake production and develop new recipes. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through various tests and evaluations, maintaining sanitation, and enhancing baking products based on customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Handle the daily preparation and production of cake products sample.
- Perform baking comparison test by incorporating emulsifiers into baked products.
- Create new product prototypes and recipe formulation including tweaking the taste profiles of the food products based on food taste test results.
- Handle the conceptualization, development, testing and scaling of new recipes.
- Conduct sensory evaluation and approval of new products / recipes.
- Ensure good personal hygiene, proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area and kitchen tools.
- Decorate finished products.
- Assist in the modification and improvement of baking products to ensure it is relevant to the current needs of the target customer.
Our client specializes in producing a wide range of products for the food industry including oil, noodles, dairy products, and more within the ASEAN region. They are currently looking for a Baker.
