Job summary

A local bakery in Singapore is looking for a passionate baker to join their team. The successful candidate will assist in the baking process, ensuring the preparation of high-quality breads, cakes, and desserts while maintaining hygiene standards. Ideal candidates should have at least 6 months of experience in baking and strong communication skills. This full-time position requires a commitment to work 5 days a week, including weekends. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Job scope

Being a part of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the baking process:

  • Preparation of breads, cakes and desserts to ensure product quality is maintained
  • Able to prepare buttercream and any other desserts as required
  • Meticulous in following recipes to minimize wastage
  • Simple cleaning duties to ensure that hygiene standards are maintained
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as requested

Ideally, the candidate should have at least 6 months experience in pastry/baking.
