Job Title: Presales Consultant, Planning & Pricing

Location: Singapore – Remote

Job Summary:
Drive solutions to sales engagements, marketing and business development, presenting Planning & Pricing solutions, mapping customer requirements to solution capabilities, collaborating with Professional Services in proposal creation. Increase, grow and develop the teams expertise in the region in the area of planning. Contribute to requirements and specification gathering for the Planning & Pricing solution.

About the Team:
The global Centric Planning & Pricing team are leading the market in the delivery of first-class planning solutions for the fashion and retail industries. A dynamic and driven team of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and driving customer project success.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze customer business requirements as a basis to propose Planning & Pricing Solutions
2. Collaborate with the rest of Sales Team in qualifying prospects
3. Responsible for in-depth, broad-based pre-sales presentations of the entire Centric Planning Solution suite
4. Configure Centric Software solutions which are fit for purpose through product presentations and supporting materials.
5. Produce written specifications (i.e. Solution Scope Documents and Use Case Documents) highlighting product features and benefits / value-add to customers to capture business process requirements for proposed solutions.
6. Analyze requirements and design solutions for complex customer requirements and its pain points
7. Prepare response documentation for RFI/RFP requests
8. Ensure clear understanding of customer’s technology requirements; providing support for Proposal and Project teams and technical leadership with a vision to win and deliver large-scale, complex solutions.
9. Provide input into future solution functionality, implementation methodology and customization standards.
10. Take part in marketing campaigns according to personal understanding on markets and customer potential needs, ensuring that Sales pitches are also aligned

Skills:

1. Strategic Thinking Skills: Pre-Sales Consultants call upon their strategic thinking skills to craft successful sales pitches for their sales team and engage with their customers.
2. Analytical Skills: analyze data and the customer’s requirements before a product or sales campaign launches. The data they collect often makes or breaks a campaign, as it is used to craft a target customer for a given product.
3. Collaborative Skills and Sales Attitude: Whether it is with the sales team or with the customer, Pre Sales Consultants are constantly collaborating and pitching value proposition. They use these skills when presenting their sales pitches to other team members, as well as when participating in strategy meetings.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar.
2. Availability for travel depending on location.
3. Fashion / Specialty Retail Planning processes industry expertise.
4. Significant experience with Software Planning, Optimization, Analytics. Specifically, system demonstrations and presentation skills are needed.
5. Technical Skills: knowledge of database and BI data science applications
6. Excellent presentation, and application demonstration skills with small or large audiences
7. Ability to develop multi-level relationships of confidence and trust with customers and cross-functional colleagues.
8. Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving technology and commercial environment.
9. Track record of pre-sales success
