Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Saturday

Salary: $3,000 and above, plus overtime pay for additional hours worked

Job Summary:

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parcels to our customers. You will ensure timely and accurate delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a combination of driving skills and parcel handling expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parcel Handling:

• Load and unload parcels from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure parcels are securely packed and labeled correctly.
• Verify and review parcels against delivery documentation for accuracy.
  

2. Driving and Delivery:

• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow prescribed delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver parcels to designated addresses, confirming receipt with the recipient when required.
• Handle any delivery issues or customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  

3. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and any incidents.
• Obtain and provide necessary signatures or proof of delivery as required.
  

4. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and organized.
  

5. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries.
• Address any delivery-related issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels as needed.

Work Environment:

• The role involves working in various weather conditions.
• The job may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
