Job Description

Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding

Position Title: Freight Sales Executive

Working Location: Tampines

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary + Commission + Transport Allowance + Mobile Allowance

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales revenue and profit goals.
  2. Manage client accounts and learn about the market to find new sales leads.
  3. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  4. Handle customer feedback and complaints, providing after-sales support.
  5. Serve as the main contact for customers, working closely with departments to address their needs.
  6. Follow up with existing and in-house clients to ensure quality service.
  7. Respond to in-house customer inquiries and requirements as needed.
  8. Submit daily reports, sales reports, and sales plans.
  9. Prepare quotations and administrative reports.
  10. Participate in all company activities and initiatives.
  11. Perform other tasks assigned by management.
  12. Complete additional administrative duties as required by the Manager.
Minimum Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of sales experience in the shipping or freight forwarding industry.
  2. Ability to identify and secure new accounts.
  3. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Customer-focused, goal-oriented, motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, and a strong negotiator.
