Position Overview:

Primarily responsible for the procurement, sales, and marketing of thermal coal. The ideal candidate should have solid market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and extensive international trade experience, and be able to work in Singapore.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze supply and demand dynamics, price trends, and market opportunities in the thermal coal market.
• Gather and interpret industry reports, news, and other relevant information to provide market insights and forecasts.
• Handle the procurement of thermal coal, with a strong familiarity with mining resources, and establish long-term cooperative relationships with suppliers.
• Understand mining production conditions and supply capabilities to ensure stable and reliable procurement channels.
• Manage the procurement and sales transactions of thermal coal, ensuring the smooth execution of transaction processes.
• Establish and maintain good cooperative relationships with suppliers, customers, and other trading partners.
• Identify and assess market and transaction risks, and develop corresponding risk management strategies.
• Monitor trading activities in real-time, responding promptly to market changes and unforeseen events.
• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of coal to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Handle matters related to transportation, warehousing, and distribution, optimizing logistics costs and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in International Trade, Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of trading experience in thermal coal or related industries.
• Preferably with international market trading experience.
• Excellent market analysis and research skills, familiar with the dynamics of the thermal coal industry.
• Outstanding negotiation and contract management skills, capable of handling complex transactions efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in using Office software.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently under high pressure.
• Willingness to travel internationally frequently, especially to China and Indonesia.
• Familiar with mining production and supply processes, capable of effectively managing and evaluating procurement channels.
