Assistant BIM Manager
Job summary
A leading architecture firm in Singapore is seeking a BIM Manager who will lead and manage BIM-focused projects. The ideal candidate has a Specialist Diploma in BIM or a Degree in Architecture, with at least 4 years of relevant experience and knowledge of Singapore BIM Standards. Responsibilities include developing BIM Execution Plans, overseeing multidisciplinary coordination, and providing guidance to team members. This role is crucial for integrating BIM technologies into project delivery and enhancing team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM management.
- Proficient in Singapore BIM Standards.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead BIM-focused projects ensuring industry standards.
- Create and maintain BIM Execution Plans.
- Oversee multidisciplinary coordination during project phases.
Skills
Education
- Lead BIM-focused projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project requirements.
- Write and uphold BIM Execution Plans, maintaining project consistency and quality.
- Integrate BIM into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction (VDC), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
- Generate clash reports and lead BIM coordination meetings with clients and consultants.
- Oversee multidisciplinary coordination, including Phase Planning (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D).
- Troubleshoot issues with models and projects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee the BIM team, providing mentorship and support to enhance team performance.
- Provide guidance to architects on implementing appropriate BIM strategies and technologies.
- Plan and resource delivery aspects of projects, ensuring efficient execution.
- Conduct training sessions on BIM processes to improve team capabilities.
- Specialist Diploma in BIM, Degree in Architecture, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in BIM management.
- Proficient in Singapore BIM Standards.
- Strong drive to stay updated with the latest BIM developments and a commitment to continual improvement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of BIM processes, tools, and technologies.
- Capacity to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good leadership abilities, with a track record of effective team management.
