We are looking for an experienced PR professional with a passion for high‑impact storytelling and hands‑on execution across Southeast Asia (particularly in the Philippines). This critical role will drive our PR efforts, developing and executing integrated PR strategies, managing agency partners, and delivering measurable results through compelling storytelling. The position is based in our Singapore office.

• Own strategy and execution: develop and implement comprehensive communications plans covering earned media, integrated campaigns, product launches, and press office requirements.
• Drive high‑quality campaign execution: lead integrated PR campaigns that drive brand fame and business results, including creator‑led activations, product education campaigns, newsjacking, and experiential brand experiences.
• Manage agency partnerships: oversee PR agencies with clear briefs, performance management, and ROI optimisation.
• Generate consistent media coverage: secure regular earned media placements for product launches, partnerships, and thought leadership positioning Wise as a leading cross‑border payments solution.
• Build and maintain strategic media relationships: cultivate relationships with journalists and editors across multiple media verticals in both countries; pitch compelling stories and respond to inquiries.
• Tell market‑specific stories: develop culturally relevant narratives for Filipino and Malaysian audiences.
• Work cross‑functionally: partner with Marketing, Product, Growth and Expansion teams to align communications efforts.
• Drive performance measurement: track and report on PR activities with clear metrics and use data to optimise future campaigns.

• Proven PR execution experience: 5‑7 years of owning end‑to‑end campaigns in‑house, delivering measurable results through earned media, integrated campaigns, and activations.
• Regional expertise: strong understanding of cultural nuances and business environment in Southeast Asian markets, especially the Philippines, with established media relationships.
• Strong execution and project management: juggle multiple projects across the Philippines and Malaysia, prioritise ruthlessly and deliver on time.
• Stakeholder management skills: manage relationships with marketing managers, product leads and country managers, influence cross‑functional partners and provide proactive updates.
• Creative thinking with practical execution: develop fresh concepts rooted in market insights while balancing budgets and timelines.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English and at least one other language (proficiency in Tagalog is a bonus).
• Valid Singapore work rights: right to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship).
