Job summary
A manufacturing company based in Malaysia, Selangor is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to oversee quality assurance for incoming materials and products. The role includes calibrating equipment, maintaining records, and generating reports for management. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience and be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and preferably Mandarin or Cantonese. Competitive salary range of RM 1,700 to RM 2,000 per month offered.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred.
- Ability to maintain quality standards and report effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality control for incoming material and products.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment and devices.
- Produce QA reports for management.
Skills
Education
- Ensure quality control for incoming material, work in processing and end product.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated.
- Send out for calibration or internet check and weight machine.
- Maintain and control calibration devices.
- Quality control of production tools and moulds.
- Control non‑confirming items on checking.
- Produce QA report for management.
- Verify non‑conforming goods for customer return.
- Any other ad‑hoc assignment and instructions as directed by HOD.
