Job description

The QC Inspector supports the Head of Department in achieving departmental objectives and ensuring consistent product quality across all production processes. The role involves conducting inspections, documenting quality data, and coordinating with relevant departments to maintain compliance with specifications and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and random inspections along production lines to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Compile and maintain quality data using QC check sheets and inspection reports.
  • Monitor production batches and maintain inspection records for quality analysis.
  • Provide feedback to the Production team on detected defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Verify in-process product quality prior to transferring goods to other departments or dispatching to customers.
  • Ensure inspection tools and measuring equipment are properly handled, calibrated, and maintained.
  • Assist in identifying non-conformities and support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Participate in quality improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, guidelines, and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain 5S standards and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or potential hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or incidental to the position.
