As an AS400 Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining in-house software solutions for stockbroking back-office systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient, and secure solutions. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute to the organizations success in delivering seamless services to clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and support end-to-end software solutions, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards based on the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools.
  • Design and assess program functionality and documentation.
  • Draft test scenarios and perform testing procedures to identify and resolve software issues.
  • Provide Level 2 incident support as reported by users.
  • Prepare program documentation, including system specifications and functional specifications.
  • Perform data extraction and provide ad-hoc reporting services.
  • Assist in system automation and integration activities.


Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in programming/scripting languages :
  • AS400 RPG / RPGLE, CL / CLLE, SQL
  • PowerShell (added advantage).
  • Proven experience in developing RPG/AS400 banking or stockbroking back-office systems or related platforms.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior developer position related to AS400 systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Hardworking, meticulous, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in securities brokerage or the investment banking industry is an added advantage.
