Job summary
A well-known Pastry Cafe in Bangsar, KL is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage accounts for subsidiaries. Responsibilities include financial reporting, liaising with auditors, and improving finance processes. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu is required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounting.
- Experience with bookkeeping practices and accounting systems.
- Proficient in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
Responsibilities
- In-charge of the entire set of accounts for subsidiaries.
- Prepare management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow/bank balance.

Company Background:
We are representing one of a well known Pastry Cafe and as they are expanding, they are looking for Accounts Executive to be based in Bangsar, KL.
Job Description:
- In-charge of the entire set of accounts for subsidiaries (local).
- Responsible to GL, AP, and tax functions.
- Prepare management account on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Review and comment on management account.
- Prepare bank reconciliation.
- Monitor and forecast cashflow / bank balance.
- Involve in continuous improvement activities relating to finance department (CI).
- Liaise with external parties such as Tax agent, Auditors and Accounting firm.
- Assist in consolidation of Group Accounts.
- Assist in corporate finance exercise matters from time to time.
- Assist in ad-hoc matters assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- At least posses a Bachelor'sDegree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting.
- Experience with bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with accounting system.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu.
