Klinik Iman or also known as IW Surgicare Sdn Bhd is a community-focused medical clinic that provides accessible and professional healthcare services to patients across all age groups. Known for its patient-centric approach, the clinic aims to deliver high-quality primary care with compassion, integrity, and personalised attention. And now! We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Doctor Resident to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, surgeries, and evaluating symptoms under supervision.
- Assist in diagnosis and treatment planning, providing evidence-based recommendations and following protocols established by supervising doctors or consultants.
- Manage patient follow-ups, monitor progress, and communicate updates to supervising medical staff.
- Perform minor procedures and clinical interventions as required in the clinic setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to SOPs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment notes, prescriptions, and referral letters.
- Prescribe medications and treatments under supervision, ensuring safe dosage, patient education, and adherence to clinic guidelines.
- Provide patient education and counseling, including lifestyle advice, preventive care, and explanation of treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS / equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) for housemanship / internship
- At least 2 years experience in plastic surgery, ortho, or general surgery department
- Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills (in wound care)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced and high-stress clinical environments
- Commitment to learning, professional development, and patient-centered care
- Ethical, responsible, and reliable, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
- Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use clinic management systems, email, and data entry tools
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, or shifts based on operational needs of the clinic
