BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This position acts a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of an organization. Responsible for overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1. Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to management and stakeholders.
2. Prepare a full set of accounts in compliance with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards.
3. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Monitor budget performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
6. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
7. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
8. Record and reconcile financial transactions in the organization's accounting software.
9. Verify and document financial transactions and maintain appropriate documentation.
10. Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits and tax filings.
11. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
12. Utilize accounting software and financial management tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
13. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging financial technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance or any related field.
2. Proven experience in finance or accounting roles; with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools e.g.: Office Central.
4. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Language(s) required: English and Malay.
6. Able to work with very minimal supervision.
7. Possesses high analytical thinking and ability to execute management direction.
