Job description

We are seeking an IT Support professional to join our team at Pakar Rekacetak Sdn Bhd (Bumiputera Company). In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients and internal staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT-related queries and issues from users in a timely and efficient manner
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and provide hands-on support to users
• Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and equipment
• Maintain detailed records of all support activities and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams
• Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems and applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Basic programming knowledge of PHP, C++, Linux
• Understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common business applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users at all levels
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and willing to outstation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
