Job summary
A leading tool manufacturer in Torreón, Mexico is seeking an experienced engineer to design and improve manufacturing processes for new products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, advanced English proficiency, and a strong background in workflow optimization and technical documentation. Key responsibilities include coordinating installations, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing supplier relationships. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- Experience in designing manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve manufacturing processes for new products.
- Optimize workflows and plant layouts.
- Coordinate installation of machinery and technology.
- Generate technical documentation and control plans.
- Implement methodologies for problem resolution.
- Manage local and international suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement.
- Develop and train team members.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- Design and development of advanced manufacturing processes for new products or improvements to existing ones.
- Analysis and optimization of workflows, plant layouts, and workstations.
- Selection and installation of machinery and equipment.
- Preparation of technical documentation: work instructions, process sheets, FMEA, control plans.
- Application of problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma and 8D.
- Development of fixtures and tooling for new product manufacturing using CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD).
- Compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
