Role Description
Provide direct support to the Contract Management Manager in the administration and control of project contracts, with emphasis on:
- contractual obligations tracking
- change management discipline (VOs / Change Orders)
- documentation governance and evidence control
- risk visibility and reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the contract obligations matrix: deliverables, milestones, approvals, guarantees, insurances, penalties, payments and close-out items.
- Manage the Change Order / Variation log: registration, documentation support, tracking of status, approvals and commercial impacts.
- Administer contractual correspondence: meeting minutes, letters, notices, formal communications, reservations of rights, and version control.
- Support preliminary contractual analyses: scope interpretation, risk identification, notification requirements and impact timelines.
- Prepare executive reports for project and management: contractual risks, open variations, exposure, critical items and required actions.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Cost Control, Finance and Legal to consolidate information and documentation.
- Assist in claims prevention and development (when applicable): timelines, evidence compilation, preliminary quantification and file structuring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in project environments (EPC, construction, energy, infrastructure or industrial preferred) in roles such as contracts, PMO, planning, cost control, commercial or process improvement.
- Strong Excel skills (matrices, trackers, control logs).
- Desirable: MS Project, Power BI, SharePoint/Aconex or similar document management systems.
- Strong organizational and documentation discipline (versions, evidence, traceability).
- Intermediate to advanced English (vendors, documentation, correspondence).
