Job summary
A leading automotive manufacturer in Indonesia is seeking an experienced engineer to manage stamping processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in press engineering within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of stamping processes and tooling design, and must be fluent in English. This position is based in Cikarang, Jawa Barat.
Qualifications
- Minimum GPA of 3.00.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive stamping processes.
- Knowledge of press machines and tooling design.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve stamping processes for quality and efficiency.
- Support new product launches with technical expertise.
- Analyze production data for efficiency enhancements.

PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) is Hyundai’s automotive production hub in Southeast Asia, located in Cikarang, West Java. Established in 2019, HMMI manufactures both conventional and electric vehicles for domestic and export markets, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.
- Manage and improve stamping processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and smooth production.
- Support new product launches and provide technical expertise in stamping.
- Design, develop, and optimize stamping processes and tooling.
- Lead troubleshooting and process improvements for press operations.
- Analyze production data and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and optimize resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering , or any relevant major with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in press engineering or stamping processes within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of stamping processes, press machines, and tooling design (dies, jigs, fixtures).
- Skilled in troubleshooting and leading quality and process improvements.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Willing to be placed in Cikarang, Kab. Bekasi.
