PT Petrosea Tbk is hiring! We are looking for an employee to fill the following position:

Mining Engineer (Nickel)

The successful candidate will ensure that the short-term mine plan is applied in daily mine operations, focusing on Pit & Dump design and sequence targets, and will provide quick solutions to operational problems to ensure productivity targets are met, all aligned with the current mine plan.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering
2. Minimum 2 (two) years of experience, preferably in nickel mining
3. Familiar with mine planning and scheduling software (Minesched, Surpac, Datamine)
4. Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Good communication and coordination skills
6. Fluent in English, both oral and written
7. Willing to work flexible hours to meet project requirements
8. Willing to be placed in all company site offices

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed weekly plans referring to monthly plans and the 3 MRP (three months rolling plan)
2. Ensure the application of short-term mine plans in daily operations, focusing on Pit & Dump design and sequence targets to achieve productivity goals
3. Provide quick solutions to operational problems, aligned with the current mine plan, to ensure productivity targets are met
4. Analyze and identify engineering problems, propose solutions, and expedite actions, acting as a mediator with the client when necessary
