Report to Manager – Technical Support Services, Facilities and Services - Maintenance, Supt. Planning Cost & Town Facilities is responsible to lead the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control of infrastructure and town facility maintenance—including office buildings, housing, guest houses, camps, and public utilities—ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company standards and Indonesian regulations. This role ensures the availability, functionality, and sustainability of facilities to support safe and continuous operations across the site. The incumbent also drives performance management of internal teams and business partners through proactive planning, system utilization (SAP/CMMS), and consistent monitoring of KPIs.
Planning and Maintenance Strategy
o Develop long-term and short-term infrastructure maintenance strategies aligned with mine life and operational priorities.
o Ensure proactive planning of work orders, critical path scheduling, job cards, and resource allocations.
o Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and minimize service disruption across town/site facilities.
Budgeting, Cost & Performance Control
o Coordinate and collaborate for the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, AFE pipeline, and cost containment initiatives.
o Coordinate and collaborate to monitor actual vs. budgeted maintenance costs and advise on cost-effective solutions.
o Manage the equipment/component register and service schedule tracking, including lifecycle cost allocation.
Infrastructure & Facilities Oversight
o Oversee the condition and readiness of infrastructure assets: offices, housing, public utilities, camps, catering, and laundry services.
o Coordinate with stakeholders on facility improvement projects and preventive maintenance execution.
o Ensure infrastructure availability meets company standards and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Leadership, People Development & Supervision
o Lead teams of Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers and Subcontractors.
o Set performance targets and monitor KPIs of internal teams and Business Partners.
o Coach and develop team capabilities; drive continuous improvement and safety culture.
System & Process Management
o Ensure maintenance records, planning documents, and cost reports are updated in ERP (SAP/MIMS).
o Maintain historical and planned data accuracy for analysis and reporting.
o Ensure CMMS system (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is used effectively.
Compliance, Safety & Emergency Response
o Review and implement departmental SOPs; enforce discipline and compliance with HSE and government regulations.
o Lead response efforts for infrastructure-related emergencies or service disruptions.
What skills and experience do you need?
· Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or relevant technical field.
· Have 15 years of proven experience in working for planning and scheduling, managing large-scale mine infrastructure maintenance experience; Must have had 7+ years in managerial roles related to Infrastructure projects on remote mine sites.
· Proven record of delivering results in a challenging work environment while managing planning, budgeting, manpower, processes, projects, cross-functional coordination and customer relationships.
· Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organizational, time management and customer service skills to excel in a dynamic operations; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, SAP/MIMS/CMMS.
· Willing to be based at site with regular working days; Possibility to relocate family.
