The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture or a related field and experience in hatchery operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining accurate records. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a pioneering breeding program with advanced technologies.

Inspect the quality of raw materials used in production (e.g., water, feed, additives) to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of shrimp at different developmental stages (Nauplii, Zoea, Mysis, Post Larvae) to ensure they meet defined standards.
Collect and test samples for microbial contamination, including pathogens.
Document and report test results promptly to QA and production teams to prevent the spread of disease or contamination.
Maintain accurate and consistent records of all quality inspection activities.
Report any deviations or abnormalities in product quality and propose immediate corrective actions to supervisors.
Assist production teams by inspecting in-process quality and identifying issues that arise during operations.
Inspect packaging processes to ensure correct shrimp quantity, seal integrity, and appropriate temperature control during handling and transportation.
Comply with workplace safety protocols, internal biosecurity procedures, and environmental health standards in accordance with company policies and relevant government regulations.
Implement and promote biosecurity measures within the facility to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic animal diseases.
Ensure adherence to all applicable aquaculture laws and regulations, particularly those related to water quality, animal welfare, and shrimp health management.
Cooperate with company-wide activities, including training sessions, operational initiatives, and quality system development, to support the organization’s overall goals.
Our company is one of the first specific pathogen free (SPF) P. Vannamei breeding programs started in 2001 by SyGen, one of the world’s leading breeding companies with the best overall performance on growth and survival.
We continue applying advanced breeding technologies and are the only program using marker assisted selection in addition to quantitative genetics.
Our customers get fast growth with high survival, resulting in high yields and low feed conversion ratio—in other words, a great result!
