This role focuses on the management of data ingestion processes and the governance of data management principles, including metadata management. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in risk management or governance, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges in data governance and operational processes.

AVP, Data Governance, Strategy and Planning - ( WD78753 )
Group Planning supports the Bank in the origination and execution of key strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, investments and joint ventures, divestments, capital management and other ad-hoc strategic initiatives, to maximize the Bank's financial and competitive position.
- Responsible for the overall management and oversight of data ingestion processes for data management platform ID and SG GCP (for ID data)
- Ensure the operationalization of metadata completeness and accuracy evaluation
- Govern the use of Horizontal GenAI use cases within the organization
- Manage the ADA Activity and Cost processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for above processes to identify and address challenges
- Provide regular reporting and update on above processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field,
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or governance, with a proven track record of leading successful risk management or governance function,
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including data ingestion, metadata management, and data governance
- Proficient in the use of data management tools and/or technologies, such as metadata management solutions
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data‑related governance issues into actionable solutions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Familiarity with Horizontal GenAI use cases and their governance requirements
- Experience in managing processes based activity and cost, will be a plus.
