Business Function

Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

Responsibilities :
  • Acquire New Customer from Cash Management and Trade product, expand penetration and market share by exploring cross-sell and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Wallet size and develop account plan and strategy covering Cash Management & Trade Products
  • Make periodic calls and/ or visit to customers to build rapport/ relationship, ask for more business, feedback on our service levels and performance, feedback on what competition is doing in the market
  • Develop, manage and broadening relationships with key internal/ external stakeholder including payment operation, Bank Alliance partner and Regulatory bodies
  • Manage high level MIS-reporting that includes : Customer’s activity, revenue generated and product penetration
  • Provide competitive information obtained from customers with regards to product functionalities, capabilities, features of competitor’s product and services. This should be channelled to Product Management to facilitate product development.
  • Proactively to have periodic socialization, training, and update in regards the detail of standard product, new policy and procedure related to trade finance and product enhancement to internal party (DBSI’s stakeholder) and external party (customer, vendors). The session may in forms of seminar, gathering or training.
