Job Description:

1) Position: Copywriter

2) Job Location: Kolkata

5) Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate (Preferably English / Mass Comm)

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a copywriter who has experience across brands and mediums, be it advertising, e-commerce, scripts or online communication.

Responsibilities
Coherently manage brand communication copy across ATL, BTL and online mediums:

1. Writing

• Ideate and write lucidly and carry the message equivocally across mediums.
• Generate copy from an idea and create multiple communication assets.
• Check copy thoroughly before publishing or printing as per the nuances of the medium.
• Write ad film scripts and generate video ideas and script for the social medium; a flair to write explainer videos will be an added advantage.

• Contributing to and articulating a concrete brand strategy that demonstrates insight, innovation & solutions that help and engage audiences.
• Studying and analysing the market, industry, target audience and competitors to come up with original solutions in the domain of creating copies.

• Collaborating with Art Directors, Project Managers, Designers & 3rd party professionals such as illustrators, developers and animators over the course of the project.
• Ideate & craft engaging content for social media and other content marketing efforts such as blogs, case studies and infographics.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent command over the English language, good vocabulary and impeccable spelling and grammar.
• Proven experience of writing for diverse businesses.

The candidate must be well-read and should be well versed with the taxonomy and web terminologies. The candidate must be able to articulate his/ her thoughts on a variety of subjects and industries.

The candidate must be good in researching and presenting information in well-formatted and well-planned documents.

The candidate should be flexible and adaptable; and must be able to meet the project delivery deadlines.
