Job summary
A facilities management company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Hard Services Manager to oversee the hard services delivery at an 800 bedroom student accommodation building in Brighton. The successful candidate will manage compliance, subcontractors, and maintenance operations. A strong background in facilities management and subcontractor oversight is essential for this role offering a salary of £50k.
Qualifications
- Experience in hard services management in a student accommodation or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and subcontractor management.
- Ability to manage maintenance operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for hard services delivery at the student accommodation.
- Manage and audit subcontractors for compliance and maintenance.
- Oversee maintenance operations including reactive and planned maintenance.
Hard Services Manager – Student Accommodation – Brighton – £50k.
You will be responsible for the hard services delivery at an 800 bedroom / 208 kitchen student accommodation building in Brighton. Electrical maintenance is carried out by one direct report with mechanical maintenance picked up a mobile team and the rest is picked up by subcontractors.
You will take full responsibility for hard services compliance, including managing and auditing subcontractors as well as reactive and planned maintenance. Approximately 1800 fire doors on site.
This PFI contract is 4 years old with 46 years left to run.
