Job summary
A leading construction firm is seeking a Freelance Senior/Quantity Surveyor for a new £80 million shopping centre project in the West Midlands. This role requires essential experience in retail projects and a full UK driving license. The contractor offers a competitive rate of £450-£550 per day, with the project expected to last at least 24 months.

Our client is a dynamic Main Contractor specialising across a multitude of sectors including, Commercial, Retail, Industrial and Education projects across the Midlands with projects typically ranging between £20m to £100m in contract values.
The client is looking for a Freelance Senior/ Quantity surveyor to join a £80 million contract, working on the construction of a brand-new shopping centre within the West Midlands area. The project is expected to last at least 24 months and commences at the beginning of January 2026.
- Completing monthly CVRs on site to ensure the project is on track.
- Travelling to site 4 days a week to track progress and working 1 day from home.
- Dealing with variations quickly and effectively to stay within budget.
- Experience working as a Senior/ Quantity Surveyor on retail projects. (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence. (Essential)
- Experience working within a team of QS's on larger sized projects. (Preferred)
