A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time employee to provide supervisory and support services within a hybrid working environment. The role requires 60 relevant credit points towards a social work degree and experience with service user groups. Candidates must possess good communication, planning, and organizational skills. The position involves a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and flexible working hours.
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and West District Housing Office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

You will have 60 relevant credit points towards first year of social work degree (one of HNC in social care or social sciences, K100, K101 or DD100).
You will provide supervisory and support services and carry a caseload of appropriate cases. Work alongside and under the direction of a senior or professionally qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.
You will have experience of working with relevant service user groups.
You will have good oral and written communication skills, understanding of issues affecting relevant service group, good planning and organisational skills and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
You will be able to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
