This great organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Field / Customer Engineer to join their dynamic team. FULL TRAINING will be given. The role will be to look after and work in and around the Newcastle area. Experience mending white goods has transferable skills for this role, and a good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude is ideal. If you have experience with general PC hardware and software maintenance, Windows operating systems, or enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together, this could be a great opportunity for you. • Diagnosing faults, making repairs and replacing modules on ATMs.
• Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and in compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements.

• Able to work on your own with minimal supervision and manage your time effectively and pro-actively.
• Good level of mechanical / electrical aptitude.
• Experience preferred with Windows operating systems.
• Experience preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Enjoys taking things apart and putting back together.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Can work well under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Shift patterns are reasonable: 5 days on, 2 days off, with a day off either side if working over the weekend. Typical shift hours are: 8am - 5pm, 9.30am - 6pm, or 12pm – 9pm.
• This role comes with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use and a fuel card.
• Tools, laptop, Android phone and all other required tools are provided. Uniform and PPE are provided.
