Overview

Maintenance Engineer – Location: Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays. Shifts: Shift 1 09:00-18:00 (Mon-Fri) and 07:00-11:00 (Sat); Shift 2 07:00-16:00 (Mon-Fri).

Pay: £19.29 per hour (Tariff 1) | £28.94 overtime (Tariff 2) | £38.58 Sundays (Tariff 3).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team within a well-established organisation. This is a hands-on role working with a wide range of equipment, where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned servicing and inspections to a high standard.
  • Respond to breakdowns with efficient fault diagnosis and reactive maintenance.
  • Undertake welding and fabrication work as required.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
  • Attend internal and external training to continually develop your skills.
About You
  • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of mechanical machinery, hydraulics and electrics.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
  • A positive “can-do” attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working on baling press machines would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
