Our client, an incredibly successful food manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, is looking for a Raw Materials Planner to support their growing team.
- Experience in food manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- An understanding of supply chain or materials planning principles is desirable.
- Manage material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing waste and holding costs.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align materials availability with production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve material supply issues to avoid production delays.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the ERP system to support planning decisions.
- Participate in stock reviews, cycle counts, and contribute to continuous improvement of materials planning processes.
- Support the development of planning tools and reports to enhance supply chain visibility.
