Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Senior Planner near Dorchester. The role involves providing planning advice and managing applications for Residential, Agricultural, and Commercial projects. Candidates must be a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) with at least 3 years PQE and previous client-facing experience. Qualifications

• Must have 3 years PQE in a similar role.
• Must have a strong understanding of NPPF and Local & Neighbourhood Plans.
• Experience in client facing roles within Public or Private sector.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with all departments from project conception to planning discharge.
• Draft Planning and Design Statements and manage application submissions.
• Liaise with external consultants and project lead teams.
