Job summary
A leading manufacturing business in Manchester is seeking a Demand Planner to take ownership of forecasting and inventory management. This role involves working closely with purchasing and operations teams while ensuring alignment with customer demands. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills and experience in manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG. This position offers the chance to shape planning processes and support long-term growth in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret, model, and present data clearly.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain forecasting documents, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date demand visibility.
- Support short-term inventory planning with a rolling 4-week view.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support production efficiency.
- Ensure the production plan requirements continue to align with business needs.
