Production Planner - Energis is currently recruiting for a Production Planner for our manufacturing client based near Newry. Working as part of a team, the successful Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling production processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
- Create weekly and daily plans to maintain on-time deliveries while maintaining a steady workload for production.
- Attend production planning meetings, ensuring effective communication in relation to production plans between related departments and raising any concerns which may impact the production programme.
- Order raw materials ensuring the lowest possible stock levels while allowing production to proceed in line with programme.
- Process stock counts to ensure accurate stock values, investigate and highlight variances.
- Previous experience of stock control / production planning ideally within manufacturing
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills especially in Microsoft Excel
- Good time management, interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team
- Proven numeracy and literacy skills
Salary is in the region £25-30k + benefits including pension.
