As a Entry Junior Merchandiser, you will develop, execute, and drive assortment strategies for your product class. Your ranges will become our “Wayfair Verified” items, representing our highest revenue products. You will influence how curated product ranges are presented across all Wayfair marketing channels (print, digital, and social), ensuring accurate product representation and appropriate shelf placement. You will support cross-functional relationships to achieve strategic goals, acting as the customer’s advocate in product placement decisions. Collaboration with Brand Management, Category Management, Marketing, Analytics & Operations, and external Suppliers will be essential to execute the strategic vision to the customer. Leveraging data-driven insights, you'll impact sales, Wayfair share, and help customers create the perfect home.
You will execute our curation strategy, gaining insights into the competitive market, and building a category assortment strategy for our “Wayfair Verified” items. This includes developing shelf space plans, managing product offerings, and supporting marketing efforts. You will decide which products to highlight, justify your choices, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure competitiveness in product and price. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs and predicting future best sellers to delight our target market.
