Business Support Officer – Student Services & Medical

Location:Ark Globe Academy, Southwark, London

Salary Details:£27,687 - £31,344 per annum + plus career average pension scheme

Hours Per Week:37.5 hours per week

About the role: As our Business Support Officer – Student Services & Medical, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the school and act as a central supporting role for staff, students and parents. You will work with other members of the Business Support Team to uphold the vision and ethos of the school at all times, representing the academy in a welcoming, personable, helpful, and professional manner.

• Flexible, highly organised and able to multi-task and prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Helpful, approachable and positive nature and ability to stay calm and diplomatic under pressure
• Able to take ownership of tasks and work with minimal supervision
• Have exacting standards and a keen eye for detail
• Keen to learn and further develop own skills
• Exercises sound judgment, especially relating to confidentiality and discretion. Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly to meet all deadlines.
• Able to accurately proof-read documentation for grammatical errors and have an eye for detail.
• Forward thinking.
• High level of proficiency and competency with Microsoft Office & IT programmes.
• Experience in using various software and programmes.
• Understanding of event and project management is desirable.
• Able to build relationships with a range of stakeholders and anticipate others’ needs.
