A renowned manufacturing firm in the Birmingham area is seeking an Injection Moulding Technician for a permanent night shift position. The role involves setting and conditioning mould tools, troubleshooting machine faults, and supervising night shift activity to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of injection moulding experience and a proactive, quality-driven mindset. The position offers £15 per hour plus a £3 night shift allowance, along with pension and training opportunities.

Are you an experienced Injection Moulding Technician who enjoys working autonomously and taking ownership of night shift production?
Our client, based in the Birmingham area, is seeking a skilled technician to become the technical lead on their night shift, ensuring high-quality, right-first-time manufacture and smooth running of injection moulding operations.
- Setting and conditioning injection mould tools
- Troubleshooting faults and responding to machine alarms
- Maintaining quality standards and processing parameters
- Supervising night shift activity and supporting operators
- Preparing auxiliary and assembly equipment
- Recording production data and ensuring full traceability
- Supporting continuous improvement and best practice
- At least 3 years' experience in injection moulding
- Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving ability
- IMT Level 2 (or working towards)
- A proactive, quality-driven mindset
- Comfortable working nights and taking responsibility on shift
- £15.00 per hour + £3.00 per hour night shift allowance
- Monday-Friday night shift
- Pension, holiday allowance, and on‑site parking
- Ongoing training and development
