Primary School Teaching Assistant

Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependant on Experience)
Contract Type: Long Term / Short Term / Daily Supply

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individuals and small groups to enhance learning.
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Help manage behaviour and encourage pupil participation.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

About You

To be considered for this Primary School Teaching Assistant position, you should have:

• Previous experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their potential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Level 3 qualification in Education (preferred but not essential).
