Job Title: Qualified Early Years Practitioner - Private Day Nursery (Permanent Role)
Location: Adel, Leeds
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of experience in early years settings who's ready to take ownership, drive best practice, and help shape the future of a thriving nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the prime and specific areas of learning
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and carers
  • Monitor, assess, and record children's progress using observation and planning cycles
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Work collaboratively with the team, sharing best practice and new ideas
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or above)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements
  • Confident, proactive, and passionate about early years education
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, but also take initiative
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
